Angela Rooney (GAICD, M. Sust. & Climate Policy, BCom. – Accounting) is an experienced executive and non-executive director across not-for-profit, local community groups, through to Federal Government level. Working career spanning a diversity of roles in the UK, France, Singapore, Perth and Pilbara. Led a collective impact initiative and understands the value and strength of collaboration and working together for improved and stronger outcomes community wide. Angela has a community development and services background, with both operational and strategic executive management experience and a commitment to making a real impact in our communities both strategically and at the grassroots level. Proud to be associated and a contributing committee member with Care for Hedland Environmental Association Committee for the last 5 years. Recently graduated from Australian Institute of Company Directors, Company Directors course. Part-time apiarist when time permits.

She holds qualifications in allied health, human resources and finance. In addition, Karen has plentiful experience in setting vision, focus, goals and strategies, to compliance and quality and risk management.

Dora De Luca has been a part of CWLH for 16 years and has participated on the board for many years. Growing up in the country has inspired a great passion for the environment and social justice. Dora likes to pay back to the community and is actively involved with Community gardens and aged care.

Beth Marchbank (B. App. Sci; Grad. Dip. Bus; M Soc. Sci Human Services) has been working as a human service consultant since 1994, specialising as a presenter and evaluator in the disability arena. She began her working life as a speech therapist, working with children and adults, but after the birth of her first child, who has Down Syndrome, she has focused her passion on supporting people with disabilities and their families to have more opportunities for ‘a good life’. Beth also has many years’ experience as a lecturer in the Disability Studies stream at Edith Cowan University, as a policy developer, and a Project Manager for Developmental Disability WA, a tenant of CWLH. Beth has volunteered on a few boards and committees including school boards and the board of Workability and believes in the major contribution that not-for-profit community organisations make for a better society.
Jess Boyce is passionate about environmental conservation, climate justice, inclusion, community building and the arts. She has worked or volunteered in the not-for-profit space for over 10 years, including in community arts centres, artist-run initiatives and grassroots environment organisations. She is currently Acting Director of the Western Australian Forest Alliance, a CWLH tenant.

In the positions held during his career, Marc has always taken a strong hands-on approach, working with finance and senior management teams to continuously build stronger corporate management systems. The NFP sector has brought a tremendous amount of fulfilment both on a personal and professional level, and is an industry sector Marc continues to enjoy working in.

Fiona graduated from UWA in 1989 with a Bachelor of Economics, majoring in accounting, and has spent most of her career working in the mining and oil/gas industries.
Working at City West Lotteries House has been her first experience of the not-for-profit sector, but Fiona says she has been truly inspired by the efforts of each of our tenant organisations, particularly those in the disability space, to support and advocate for their clients and families.
On the weekends, Fiona likes to practice yoga and Pilates, or go on relaxing drives in the country. She also has a naughty beagle, Mario, who requires regular walks.
